Passive Fire Protection & Fire Stopping in Exeter & South Devon

Passive fire protection plays a crucial role in helping to contain the spread of fire and smoke, protecting escape routes and allowing valuable time for occupants to evacuate. At MBP Fire Protection, we provide professional passive fire protection and fire stopping services in Exeter and across South Devon for commercial, residential and public-sector properties.

Our fire stopping solutions are designed to help maintain the fire resistance of walls, floors and compartments where openings have been created for pipes, cables and other building services. Depending on the requirements of the property, this can include fire-resistant mastics, fire batt, pipe collars, wraps and other appropriate passive fire protection systems.

From individual fire stopping works to wider passive fire protection requirements, our experienced team can assess the property and recommend an appropriate solution. We work with businesses, landlords, property managers, contractors and organisations throughout Exeter, Torbay, Teignbridge and the wider South West, with a focus on professional workmanship, suitable products and effective fire protection.

Fire stopping often works alongside correctly installed fire doors as part of a building's wider passive fire protection strategy. Learn more about our professional fire door installations.
